Brittany (Hope) Kim

Lead PPN - General Surgery

Hope is a second-year medical student from Ellicott City, MD. She graduated from Amherst College in 2019 with a BA in Neuroscience. Prior to medical school, she worked as a research assistant at the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders to examine habit formation in adolescents and adults with anorexia nervosa. Hope is passionate about combatting food insecurity and promoting surgical equity and is excited to be a part of the CSH team as a lead PPN. At Penn, Hope is also the Education Chair of the Elizabeth Blackwell Society and a member of the Rhoads House Council. In her free time, Hope enjoys spending time outdoors, and some of her hobbies include swimming, biking, running, skiing, and cooking.
