Associate Director of CSH Clinics
Olivia is a 4th year MD student pursuing a career in general surgery, with a specific interest in pediatric surgery. Originally from New York City, she graduated summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology and minors in Chemistry and Bioethics. During medical school, in addition to her roles with the Center for Surgical Health (first as a General Surgery Lead PPN and now as an Associate Director of Clinics), she co-founded the Pet Therapy program, serves as a teaching assistant for the Perelman Educational Pipeline Program, sits on the board of the Langfitt Neurosurgical Society, volunteers with the University City Hospitality Coalition clinic, and during the height of the COVID-19 crisis, was deeply involved in work with the patient/family support program, the Medical School Virtual Visitation Program. Olivia also conducts research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, studying the genetic basis of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and clinical outcomes of patients with this diagnosis.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys playing frisbee and cuddling with her dog Peanut, playing violin, tutoring math, and skiing.
