Ivan Jaimez
Lead PPN - Plastic Surgery
Ivan is a 4th year MD student pursuing a career in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, he graduated summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Physiology and a minor in Biochemistry. At Penn, Ivan has enjoyed being a board member of the Latino Medical Student Association and serving as a Chief Teaching Assistant for the Anatomy course. In addition to his role at the Center for Surgical Health, Ivan is the Community Outreach Chair for the Agnew Surgical Society, a board member of Leo Leung Orthopedic Interest Group, and translator and clinical volunteer at the Latino community clinic – Puentes de Salud. He is pursuing a Certificate in Academic surgery and serves as a Near Peer Mentor for surgery clerkship students. In his free time, Ivan enjoys cooking, working out on the Peloton, and exploring the Philadelphia food scene.
