Ellie Sell

Lead PPN - ENT/Neurosurgery

Ellie Sell graduated summa cum laude with a concentration in chemistry from Princeton University in 2017. She then completed a Master of Arts degree in Literature at University College Dublin as a Mitchell Scholar followed by a postbaccalaureate intramural research training award (IRTA) to study DNA repair pathways at the NIDDK/NIH. At Perelman, she serves as Junior Education Chair of the ENT Interest Group, Education Co-Chair of the Agnew Surgery Society and former Co-Chair of Penn Med Pride. Ellie is a dual degree candidate working towards a Master of Science in Translational Research (MTR) studying viral infections in the pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis, revision sinus surgery, and the development of topical therapeutics for chronic rhinosinusitis and outcomes/translational research in sinonasal and anterior skull base tumors.

In her free time, Ellie enjoys brewing beer, running, and exploring new restaurants in Philadelphia.
